I currently use 16 x 8 245/45 in the rear with no problems. I did a lot of searching and I know 16 x 9 will fit fine on an SC with 245/45 16. Do you guys think I can squeeze a 265/45 on a 16 x 9 Fuch ( ET15) without hitting my rear fenders? Car is a 1/4" below Euro height with rear 29 mm T-bars and 21 mm sway bars. I will stick with 225/50 16 x 7 for the front. Thank You all in advance.

No rub with 245 hoosiers on BBS 9's in the rear. Stock fendered '76 carrera 3 with 2 degrees of camber.
YMMV.
I'd think 265's would rub unless you had tons-o-camber and massaged the the fender lips.

I run 255/40-17 Toyo R888 on 17x9 Fikse FM-5 wheels on my SC flared 911.
I am running an 8mm spacer with that so there is no rubbing on an oil cooler supply line on the inside of the passenger side rear fender.
Only on the track at the extreme will i get just a c*nt hair of a rub on the inside of the flared fender- no biggie. Has not caused any problems for tire or fender.
Note: the R888 runs wider than a 255 MPSC or Yoko 048R, which fit inside the fender better.
hope this helps,
Nick

There are plenty of club racers who run 275s on 9s in the rear. To be fair, most have maximum negative camber, at least 33mm T-bars with 22mm sways, and shocks custom-valved for the T-bars.
