Default Help... how can I make my exhaust quieter?

Hi

I'm shifting my 3.2 from the UK to NZ and they have far stricter exhaust noise rules over there (anti-boy-racer legislation believe it or not). I had an M&K sport exhaust fitted (straight-through pipes) and I have no idea whether it will slip under the radar. The brochure says 95 decibels but no idea if that's at tickover or 5000rpm...?

Does anyone have any tricks or recommend any products to make the exhaust quieter?

Have considered steel wool but have heard this catches fire and it must be a b*****d to get out afterwards.

Thanks
Rdshw
(Are there any Kiwi's on here who have any advice on loud 911 exchausts?).

1. Supertrapps

2. call Ben & ask for a dual cowhorn style

3. buy Monty dual cowhorn style or other brand

4. go to stock muffler

if your motor was carefully tuned to the sport muffler (odd for a 3.2L) then re-tune for the final choice

Definitely don't want to change the exhaust as LOVE the M&K. Are Supertrapps just another exhaust system?

Maybe I'll just call M&K and ask for some advice...

Any Kiwis able to help with what it's like in NZ for loud Porsche exhausts???
