Didn't you recently leave where Ike is headed for?

Actually, I was up in the DFW area. But, I've got some friends in Houston that are a bit concerned.

I got back to SoCal here just before the little 'quake we had a couple of months ago. Hehehehehe

On a totally unrelated topic, I'm actually in Las Vegas now with two gas cans in the back of my truck. 100octane is only $5.99/gal here!!

Ed, are you well? You can get that at about $8.00 right around the corner from my office. (the 10 and the 60) Buy it here and save yourself the 4 hour one way drive that cost you far more than the couple bucks you saved per gallon. Even if you say you had to go to Vegas for work, I still think you should get it here.

I swear, someone just needs to set a date for the BBQ and drive in at the Cucamonga Carrera Cantina. We can all drive over and top off with 100 octane for the drive home.

Don't forget the couple of hundred lost in the casino....it really doesn't pencil out, does it?

Let's try and set a date on the GTG....

Ike is "currently" projected to go just east of Dallas sometime Saturday afternoon. At least we're not on the dirty side! I used to own a townhouse on Clear Lake in League City (before moving to DFW), and the current storm surge projections have that area totally UNDERWATER!
