Lots of people have 911's and 968's When you want AC drive the 968. If you need the hatchback to get supplies from Home Depot - drive the 968. When you want to haul a$$ and put a stupid grin on your face - the 968 will be waiting for you when you get back.

Of course you could haul *** to Home Depot with a hatchback if you go with a 928.....I miss my '91.

I have a 968 and a 993. I plan for my next car to be an older 911, prob a 3.2 or SC. Doesn't really answer your question, but I just think they are different cars. As far as a track only car, I think an older 911 would be better.

I only miss my 928 occasionally when I see one.
A 30 mpg Vette replaced my 928, but every country or track drive in my 911 gives me an adrenalin rush that lasts for days. I don not, however, enjoy my 911 in stop-n-go traffic or when I carry a passenger.
That sums it up for me... My daily driver is an M3 for AC, hauling kids, and to sneak in a little quiet drifting on my way home.
