Do Most 1988-1989 911s Have Spoilers?

It seems like it, at least in Los Angeles! My wife and I saw a stunning, red SC coupe last weekend, in Malibu, and it was actually a little weird because it didn't have 930 flares or spoilers - it was, well, stock...

My '88 doesn't have either (no delete option codes either), and I'm also missing Jabsea's Carrera emblem on the rear deck lid, and do have the option delete for that one. My mental image of a 911 always had a tail so that's what I was looking for in my search...I actually purchased a spare deck lid and a new tail to add too mine after purchasing her, but the "clean lines" grew on me

As an old timer (compared to many of you youngsters!) I can say that the vast numbers of 1988-89 cars did not come with spoilers. What has happened over the years is that many 2nd and 3rd and 4th owners prefer the tails and wind up adding them. When you buy it second hand you are probably buying something that the guy before you wanted,--but wasn't as it left Zuffenhausen.
