Post 915 transmission repair recommendation?

The syncros on my tranny is going out. I'm in Utah but can't seem to locate a good Porsche transmission shop. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can send my tranny for a rebuild that does good work and is priced reasonably?

Thanks in advance.

hybrid,
I also live in SLC. There are three places that I would recommend. 1. Strongs - Larry Mullen 2. Baxters Autohaus - John Baxter (over 30 years experience) and 3. Concourse Auto Werks. There is another shop in Provo that is very good. I can't recall the name at the moment. Many of the local PCA members use Concourse. Stay away for Alex's Autohaus. He did my 915 tranny and it was a total nightmare. He ended up taking the engine/tranny out 5 times before he got it right (over 4 months).

John Walker's Workshop (Seattle). Reasonable and top notch expertise. He has a website. There are lots of referfences in the Pelican website for him. When mine goes - to him it goes.

Does anyone know if Gary Fairbanks is on vacation, out of business? I left a message for him earlier this week and havent heard back from him yet...tried calling a couple of other times and just got a machine. Have heard nothing but great things about the guy and want to talk with him about my tranny...
