Yes....and no. From what I understand the thread/pitch of a Torx could be either metric or SAE however the head, and consiquently the bit used, is 'torx' which has it's own sizing from T1 to T100. The head is neither metric or SAE, it's 'torx'.

Hi Rod,

If you're talking about adjusting the strike plate in the door jamb, I've done that with a regular torx bit. Can't recall the size, but it's a standard bit.

I did google it and came to the same conclusion.
I only have up to T-40, so I guess I'll be buying more!
