Default Is anyone...

...experiencing log-in memory problems? It seems that over the last three weeks or so, when I log into Rennlist, that my computer doesn't remember who I am and asks for my user name & password. It's been inconsistent, and I just went a few days without it happening but this morning it needed my info again...

None of the above! As far as I know I've been doing nothing different... except maybe to disconnect the lap top from its electrical source and using it on battery for short periods.

Hmmm, I have had no such issues. I have a feeling it is on your end and it relates to some sort of 'security' feature you have that is deleting a precious cookie as the guy above me mentioned. Are you still using firefox?

Yes on Firefox. I just had something else happen - the same deal on Pelican, my computer "forgot" me. I think that I'll leave the lap top plugged in for a few days and see if it happens again... Thanks for the thoughts!

Okay, if you look under Tools--> Options and then click on the privacy tab you should in the middle of the window an area where they talk about 'cookies'. There is a choice as to how long you keep cookies for, you should keep them until they expire. See if that makes any difference or if one of those boxes was unchecked.

Whoa! Never knew about that... "until they expire" is the choice, and the box is checked.

Thanks, Matt, we'll see what happens...

Do you have any new anti-virus applications or a recent upgrade. Some of them mess with your registry now. My wife loaded bit defender and it deleted all kinds of stuff
