What about a set of 15in. cookie cutters I use those with BFG R1 for autocrossing and occassional DE and they seem to be ok the price for 4 of them was 200.

Cookie cutters are 7x15 are around $300. Mount Kumo V710's or equal in 225/50's on all.

Now you can rotate wheels around for the best ware. They also are about 23.7" tall for a gearing advantage and lower car.

Some of the wheels from a C2 can be cheaper and alow biger 17" tires but need spacers.

Excellent point! Cookie cutters are a great track wheel ...I don't think they ever came in 16s, though, so that may be a concern. And the Cup I's (from the 964) when they come up for sale are often very reasonable as the owner is typically "upgrading" to 17s or 18s. These look great and are a great track candidate, but will require adapters since the offsets are markedly different.

thanks everyone for your guidance. I guess I'll keep looking until I find Fuchs or BBS.
