I drive my 1987 Porsche about 2 or 3 times a week and the 1998 E300 TD Mercedes Benz the rest. Sometimes I will drive the benz the whole week and vice versa. Depends on the mood and what is being done to each car.

I have a 1988 Toyota Corolla that I bought off craigslist for $300. It gets much better gas mileage than my 911. Plus it's a fun little car, in a strange way.

2001 BMW 330ci black on black with sport package and 5 speed manual. It's an excellent car: fast, it handles, comfortable, quiet, good gas mileage, safe, good A/C, cruise control, stereo. Great for getting someplace very quickly with no fuss. BUT...........it's almost too good to the point that it isolates one from the driving experience to a certain extent. The 911 is loud, rides stiff, has a vague shifter, etc. but is stirs my soul is a way the Bimmer doesn't. I guess the BMW is the car I wanted to marry and the Porsche is the mistress that is constantly tempting me to sneak out with her! In fact my wife refers to her as the "other blonde".

Agree. The BMW E46 Ci is the most comfortable car, and such a great car to travel in. I probably don't have to tell you how much I enjoy it as a daily driver too, but don't you just hate to see the car get 'old'? I mean using the car as a daily driver the car gain quickly many km on the clock.

I too have an E46 as a daily driver, but it is a 325i. It is a great car for daily chores. Prior to that, I used my 996 as a daily and or my 85 RoW, as I really love that car. For fun, I usually drive my 86 3.4 turbo and the 85 cab. Once in a very great while, I will drive my 79 turbo garage queen.

Bought an E36 M3 for my daily driver. The clutch is sping easier than my 911 kevlar racing clutch and it has a much easier entry/exit than my vette.
It is also a lot of fun at the track. Here's a pic of the ery nice pits they gave us at the Nashville speedway.

I've only used it for grocery shopping and going to hockey since the begining of summer. 911 is the daily driver.

Arrow Too Many Vehicles

I don't really have a "daily driver" because there are so many to pick from, to keep everything charged up and in good running condition, There are enough cars and trucks here, that I can drive two different vehicles everyday, and still have a couple of them left over. But... my insurance person really loves me, because they know that none of them see the road very much, so I have many with very low mileage for their age.

Ford F 150 w/5.4 liter V8...and good A/C!
The SC stays in the garage this time of year - way to hot (100 F + every day) to drive it daily.
