Ned, you were right on the money! My idle control microswitch was not making contact with the throttle arm. I made a slight adjustment to the metal tab that contacts the switch and that did the trick. My motor idles nicely now at about 850 rpm. As a sideline, while adjusting the microswitch I discovered that the clamp that secures the rubber intake boot to the throttle body was obstructing the last quarter inch of throttle travel.............Free Horsepower!!!

I had a similar issue with that damned clamp/screw,..actually caused the throttle to stick (but only once...) She's positioned properly now...I was amazed at the extro ooomph!!!!!!!!!!!
