Awesome, Thom! Looks sweet with those fat fenders. Where's the rest of the car? We want the whole enchilada. I'll go check your website.

Thom,

That looks super!

I should have the "red sled" back from DeMan Motorsport by the end of next week (in time for my birthday, 12/6), with its new 3.6L (w/ 3.8 RS cams).

Expecting 300+hp at the rear wheels. Will keep you posted.

I'm still waiting for a certain someone to send me the connector pipe that goes betwixt the heater boxes. I think I'm gonna have to just suck up and buy one...

I had the same problem, the one that came with the engine was mislayed, had to buy a new setup. I hate paying for the same thing twice.

More pix; I got lucky in that the color of the tail is really close to the color of the car! My M3 friend thinks this tail is excessive, but have you seen the tiny spoilers those m3 guys have? You know why they call 'em spoilers on the M3's? Because once she sees it, it kinda spoils the moment...

Wing looks good and you certainly did luck out on the color, can't say it's my style though....a little "over the top" so to speak IMHO. By the way, you plannin on putting the lower rockers back on?

Yes, it is a bit 'over the top', but that's me, and it's consistent with the general theme of the car: 5-point harnesses, turbo brakes, mild 3.6L engine, twin oil coolers, 22/29 torsion bars (next project!), 22mm sway bars (on my xmas list), Recard SRD's, etc, etc.

I'm not sure if I'll put the rocker covers back. First off, it will depend on which bumper kit I decide to go with. If I do the RSR bumpers, probably not; if I do the C2 Turbo bumpers, then I'd use those rockers. If I leave the bumpers alone, I'll probably put them back on.

BTW - any idea of the value of an original OEM turbo tail?

Tail looks good! Something is out of balance - I think its the Fuchs. They are both out of date for the wing style and too small. With those big fenders, you should be able to get some fat 18" under them.

Something like this:

I still like the look of the Fuchs. How about something in-between:
