Default Draco vs. Bray Octane and Ribeye

We had the first ever Octane and Ribeye at the Cucamonga Carrera Cantina. OK, so it was Jim and I on my front porch with the BBQ, and a couple Porsches. We took a tour around and saw some nice 911's and 912's. We talked to the owner of the 930S cab that I'm always posting about. He poped the hood to reveal a CIS engine. I hit a jack rabbit, and Jim named him Lefty.

Draco, what else did we do?

I really expected Draco to post last night or this morning....

So I'll tell you about the bunny. We were flying along a deserted stretch of road up the hill from my house at about 70 mph and out hopped this wayward bunny and THUMP! DEAD BUNNY right? Wrong. I slammed on the brakes and pulled off a nice drifting move and left an impression on poor Draco about as bad as the bunny. He didn't know you could drift a 911. (I'm guessing I learned it as a kid oval tracking on my ATC speedway style) So we go by the bunny and it don't look dead. I turn around again and it gets up. Draco jumps out (I'm guessing in hopes of BBQing it...) It gets up, hops off on 3 legs. I'm sure the coyotes had it before sun up. What a ride.

Poor bunny.

I missed 3 squirrels up on Palomar Mtn. yesterday. Good training for the reflexes.

Ed, you are hereby invited to the next party at the Cucamonga Carrera Cantina. If you can hold off three attack squirls all in one drive, I've gotta see your ride. With my sloppy old ride the bunny was doomed.

Forget the above post that was a bad link....

Here is what is on the menu tonight at the Cucamonga Carrera Cantina:

bone in Ribeye 3 pounds

Jumbo Shrimp 2 pounds

Bell Peper 4 varieties.

Double Sweet Onion 1

Dr Peper 2 liters

(it lasted less than 10 minutes)

I'm tellin' you, you guys have to set a date and come over. We could do a run up the backside of the mountain to Lake Arrowhead via route 66 or anything you want. I don't care....I just want to pay everybody back with some good food for all the help I've gotten.

Oh Dougals aka (Bugs Bunny Crippler) LOL,

Thanks so much for being such a great host and great driver. Hell I felt like I was in the next Drift Movie " Rancho Cucamonga Drift ". I mean wholy crap your baby is awsome peeling out the way you did and around corners. I think your neighbors must hate you. I am surprised the police did not show up trying to find the hot rodder.

The BBQ was great, haven't had BBQ Ribeye for awhile, Thank You so much!

The Bugs Bunny incident, well I jumped out to try to help it and maybe take it to the pet hospital or take him to my family restaurant, we serve rabbit BTW but it ran off on all threes. Oh well, I'm sure it's OK.

Again thank you and your whole family for the warm reception, your wife is a very cool lady, you lucky brother.

RSD,

Jim

That is what I was referring to, the chicken went to see its friend, Mr. Rabbit.
