Default New Boots

Finally sourced some boots that would fit the rear wheels properly and fill out the wheel wells...315/35/17

You are one sick man Dave. But, that's a good thing.

Just one question that is making me crazy. Why is your ICV horizontal? That makes two I have seen that way now. Everyone else has a vertical ICV. Is it a ROW or right hand drive thing?

Doug, asked the same question a while back and apparently a non OEM replacement from another make of car. Works fine so I'm operating off the old saying.....If it aint broke....don't fix it.
Dave.

Good question.......I have not had a chance to really evaluate them as I had to leave for O/S basically as soon as they were fitted. Felt OK round town though.

Dave-

Give those Sumis some time to scrub in. I have them on my car in a 245/45/16 and I didn't like them at first, but after about 400 miles and some twisties, they are coming in nice. Very gummy rubber 160 treadwear rating. They probably won't last long depending on driving style. I"m glad they were cheap. My only complaint is lack of sidewall stiffness especially in a 45 sidewall height. Hopefully yours are better. Interested to see if you feel the same way.

Yup, I have the Sumi HTR-Z on my SHO (245/45-17), and they're niiiiiice after the release is gone.

My ICV is also horizontal on my '84 Doug.

So Fred, do you think the ICV is a OEM fit? Mine sure looks that way with the hose and elec fittings etc.
I would like to think it is.
Dave.

Looks like they came up a treat! Sorry about the exhaust dude but I did post it on here open for offers, I had like 10 members wanting to buy it, not one them came through so I Fleabayed it. If I were to do the exhaust again NA I would get some 993 heat exchangers and an M&K muffler, that would be a great system and not too pricey. Love your scissor lift too, which model is it? Your garage looks sweet, I might come around and drop my oil, you don't mind do you ?!

No worries mate...so long as you have bucket under it and a box of beer!
Scissor lift is manufactured by......?????....as there are no labels on it and I purchased off FleaBay. It is well engineered and works fantastic with a max lift height of 1.8mtrs.
