Post recommendations for DE books/videos?

Any suggestions/recommendations for DE books and/or videos for green / yellow /white level drivers? Also, who carries them?

Thanks

There are a bunch of books by good people on how to drive at high speed. The one I've read, and reread, which I'd recommend first is "Going Faster" by Skip Barber. It's well written, with excellent discussion of both theory and practicalities on how to get around a track. Easy reading, with good doses of humor thrown in. Available from most any book store or the internet.

If you drive at Lime Rock, an excellent video is "Up To Speed: Lime Rock Park". Aside from analyzing the turns, much of it has Derek Bell narrating, where he makes some good points. Note, it's not a substitute for an instructor next to you. I find it useful to look at each Spring as a gray matter refresher. It's available at the LR store or from their online website.

"Going Faster" is a very good book. You can get through Amazon.com It helps to at least do one DE before you sit down and read it so you can relate it the the track.

"Bob Bondurant On High Performance Driving" was a good book. I got it from Pelican but there are probably other sites that have it too.

Note that you can also purchase the accompanying Skip Barbar Going Faster video tape that illustrates the examples and lessons presented in the book. I found it quite helpful and well done.

The previously mentioned books are good, so is Henry Watt's book Secrets of Solo Racing and Paul Frere's book Sports Car and Competition driving.
