They don't show any seals in the Porsche parts catalog, and I thought they aren't used in that engine. You might try EBS Racing in Nevada at (800) 462 3774, or Jerry Woods shop at 408-369-9607, or Andial at 714-957-3900, perhaps one of them can help.

There are no seals for the rocker shafts. What kind of trouble are you having that would make you ask about seals?

You could use the RSR rocker shaft seals - I have read that these can be effective.

This thread over at Pelican may be helpful: http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...er+shaft+seals

Good luck to you!

Kurt

Thanks for the phone leads, Ill give that a try. I know the seals are not in the P catalog. I think its an aftermarket part for old rocker shafts that refuse to seal.
Zoom Zoom! Oh, wait. Wrong car.

I put them on all my engines. Not sure if they were needed, but while I had the engine apart seemed like cheap insurance against annoying leaks. I got them from EBS.

Good luck!

Unless there are "O" ring grooves on each end of your existing rocker shafts, you would have to replace your's with new RSR shafts and seals. I believe I got mine from Zimm's.

Good Luck !

John,

I just wasn't aware that all shafts have grooves for the seals, I'm only familiar with the 3.0 and 3.2, thought maybe the 2.7 shafts were grooveless. Of course the seals go there, only spot for them !
