Welcome aboard Alex! Is that color Diamond Blue Metallic? It's beautiful regardless...

I also fell in love with the 911 when I was 17. I swore then I'd get one. I did - it just took me 20 years to do it!

Your car is awesome!!

Thanks everyone that means a lot. I was a little worried to post on here because i am so used to the bmw forums where everyone seems to have an attitude and jealousy issues, putting down one another's car. Its great to meet all of you. As for the color of my car its meteormetallic with a black interior. I had it aligned today so now its handles the way it should!!

Very nice! And welcome to you and your vehicles. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford my first 911 until I was 40, so you are way ahead in this car passion. Welcome and great start with great cars.
regards,
Steve

Hey GC90...

I see you live in RI.

You should bring that thing to Porsche Fest at the Lars Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline Mass. It's the first weekend in September. So many classic Porsches there your eyes will pop out.

Alex this is the best forum on the "list". Here you will find no attitudes, nothing to prove and a wealth of knowledge and experience. I do think I pissed Oshin off one time and If I did. Sorry about that

Wow! I would have creamed my pants if I was able to have my dream car when I was 17. Good for you!

Thanks thats great I'm so happy to no longer be in the bmw crowd, I also don't want you guys to get the wrong idea and think that my parents are paying for all of my cars. I work really hard to have what i have. My parents don't give me any money toward my cars i have to work for everything, and in my mind i think thats the way it should be. A lot of kids that i go to school with have brand new Mercedes and bmw's that their parents buy them and they seem to have absolutely zero respect for because of it. heres a picture of my last car a 1995 bmw 540i sport 6 speed that i sold to buy the 911 gives you an idea of what i like my cars to look like.
