Smile Keyless Remote - Hofco
Looking for operating/programming instructions for Hofco Three Button Keyless Remote C8U7JSRT3 (installed in my 87 911 Porsche). It works just fine, but I am trying to locate a copy of original instructions. I am a newbie to the list, hope this is a good place to post this. Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried to contact HOFCO in Culver City, Cali? As I recall they are bunch of Kool Kats.

I had the same alarm for my 87 944S.

Thank you. I spoke to a previous Hofco installer in LA. He told me how to program the receiver for the remote I bought. He said it would probably never work again, and it didn't. I wrote up the procedure and will keep it archived. Would you like a copy? It's for a different remote than the one shown in your doc.

This is interesting though. The doc you sent says they might kill ignition (my problem). He told me that Hofco always killed fuel, never spark.
