I think this is a good choice. It is your first time. You are changing color and may not even like it once it's all in. You may like it so much that the quality isn't an issue. don't judge it till it's all in. A lesser quality new will most likely look much better than 21 year old OE carpet.

What glue are you using?

It'll look and feel better when installed, and you're not putting a light behind it. Unless, of course, you had a bunch of floorpan missing from body rot!

Hey, I was just at La Canada S'bucks....right down the street from a Panda where they're testing one of our ice machines. Gotta love our Chewable Ice! Trade name: Chewblets

Oshin - what field are you studying? I assume you are at UCSB?

BTW - keep the brake cleaner away from your lungs & skin....

Thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

And at this point I'd like to say that I have the worst hangover ever.

Do you at least have something to show for it? A strange woman in your bed, a cool new tattoo, a ring on your finger...etc?

Ed, isn't that spay-on bed liner Duraliner a good race car "carpet"? I'd think it would weigh less than carpet.
