No Oshin it is not me it is Peritus. ( James ) he has a 3.6 in his SC ( the varioram ) I have been on the track with him and the thing is well ,, er viloent just does not expalin it. But i guess the 915 just could not take that kind of punishment. So we pulled the motor on the weekend and sure enough taking the plate off revealed all kinds of metal chunks. His third is definitely gone and possibly others by now.

I can help with a 915 that is rebuilt with a 12 month 12 K warranty if that would be of use to your friend. Let me know if I can help out here.

Thanks for looking into this guys. In any event, shipping costs from the US is going to be a major drawback.

It might be good to have a spare however.... that 3.6 has a lot of life left in her, and I can't see my driving style changing too much.

Default New Front Bumper

I just picked up a new front valance from Brent Hunter - IROC style, with lots of room for the oil cooler and potentially more ground clearance (which might help in the next "OFF" event I have at the track).

It needs a spa day at the body shop, but I'll accomplish a similar look to what was there prior.

Here's a pic of the old one.. will show new to compare when its attached.

This is a 3 speed 915 with a 3.6L pushing it around? Why 3 speed? Is the shrapnel the 2 missing gears?

Yup.. I was a 5 speed on the way to the track, and a 3 speed on the return trip.

It's time for you to become really, really, really good friends with Pete. He could fix it with his eyes closed.

peritus: Just for grins & giggles, I called the carrier that I use to get a quote for you. Their computer system uses our Zip-codes, and your Canadian version of a Zip-code to determine pricing. If you can pm me with the number/code I would be more than happy to get a quote.

You could always do what Clive does and just get it shipped to that guy on the other side of the boarder, then drive down and pick it up.
