White face gauges on '88 '89 standard on 930S
I have been looking for 930S, either 87-89. Were white face gauges standard for all Turbos? Or were they an option? I am seeing more white gauges than black, so I am curious.
Also, if I do buy black face gauges; are white gauges easy to find?
TIA.

I think black is standard and white is an aftermarket upgrade but I've only owned '87 and '88 NA 911s. Regarding the white faced gauges, I used to think they took away from the looks of the interior but now I like them. Now that I've driven both, I find that the white faced gauges easier to see in all driving conditions. Of course it could be a consequence of being in my 50s and I don't see so well anymore.

I was at Performance Products yesterday and saw the white kits for sale. Obviously very old stock but still cool to see. You would probebly just want to send them to North Holywood Speedo for a tune up and let them do the change.
