Turboed my Carrera 3.2, youtubes and pics
I turbocharged my carrera a couple of months ago. It's a pretty simple setup runing only .5bar boost but it makes a serious difference, completely transforms the car, couldn't recommend it more. Protomotive say it makes 360hp with that much boost and it feels every bit of it.
Here's a couple of vids I took on the weekend, I need to get a decent one in the car and outside, the road I took these on is only 40kph (25mph) so couldn't really push it.
Some Pics and youtubes.

There sits the old Dingo with that sad look on his face thinking "He used to thow me a bone, now he only plays with that phat grey noisey moving thing."
EDIT: Spence, the car is clean. Are you able to use the cross-over pipe in place of an inner-cooler because of the low boost? At what point do you add the tail and cooler? Very nice!

That looks like a great set-up. Have you had a chance to put your car on a Dyno yet?
You're pretty tall. Were you able to move your seat back at all?
I moved my seat back a couple of inches on the rails.
C.L.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, I was half expecting to get a little flamed, a few of the local guys have told me it's 'wrong' what I've done to the engine, I should have kept the car all original... Anyway I like it like this and could reverse it easy enough.
g-50cab: thanks I like tailess too, 360 sounded optimistic and really didn't believe I would have that much power until the first drive, it may not really have that but over stock it's night and day, you're no stranger to a healthy power increase!
TroyN: you don't need a wide body! It's a case of the wanting what you don't have, I like narrows equally as much and the wide just adds a whole lot of weight.
Doug: "the old dingo!" hahaha, that's Jeff my Staffy, would choose him over the car anyday! Yep you can run without an intercooler if the boost is kept low, you can see the different stages here, I'm at stage 1: http://www.geocities.com/protomotive/911descr.htm
Dentron: No dyno yet, I will soon. I do need more legroom but most of all headroom! My head touches the roof so I slouch a bit, I'm hoping some after market seats will help and store the originals but I'm yet to find something that matches the look of the car.
Doing this conversion is pretty easy, I took progress pics and planned on writing a how-to but it's unlikely I'll get around to it. If anyone wants any advice I'm happy to help out.

I had this on my 1981 911SC and it produced a conservative 270 PS. What a great car it was! The original clutch, trany, brakes, etc. all hanlded the added power. The 915 is one tough transmission,--if not abused. I used to redline it in 5th gear and it showed an indicated 162 mph.

Jeremy - Warming it up now for you!
Jerry - Thanks a lot, your advice really helped me out. "makes you wonder why you didn't do it sooner, doesn't it." It's funny you say that, it's the first thing I said to Merv after the first drive.

Chris -
One thing with boosting a stock n/a engine, you have a higher compression ratio you're starting with. I was able to get 322 wheel hp from a stock 3.2L SHO engine at 10psi of supercharged boost (not cooled either) - stock is 220 crank hp at 9.8:1. When I went to 15psi, I went to forged JE slugs at 9.0:1, but was then able to get 419 wheel hp from the same 3.2L. Unboosted, that low-comp engine was down on power to the tune of maybe, 20-30hp over stock.
Spence, I'm very interested in your results. I've sent off an email to proto already. Any info you've got, I'd love to hear!
Thanks
