I've used steering wheel locks like "The Club" for many years on all of my collectible cars. Also inserted bad fuses instead of leaving any slots empty. Master power switches always became problem areas.
None of these techniques prevented a flatbed theft attempt that I once thwarted. LoJack just makes it easy for police to recover cars that have been stripped or abandoned and to sometimes locate chop shops.

We use a steel brided theft cable with the lock built into the end. It is run thru the rear wheel and bar under the car. A bolt cutter will not work, a cut off battery metal saw will but the noise is a problem. For a risky situation there is one on each side. We also have an alarm.
Will use some of the other good ideas.
When we travel with the Chevy truck I disconnect the battery, pull the dist/coil wire and or stuff cloth into the aircleaner intake.
I had a switch on one of the trucks that sent elec to the horn rather than the starter when the key was turned on. Instead of starting, the horn honked.

Now that is a great and hilarious idea. Would be fun to actually leave the key in the car and watch the crook attract the attention of everyone around.

All of these still don't help if they want to tow your car. Here is a good defense against car jacking.

And for the video of how it works...

I have that same Mossberg 500 with the pistol grip and heat shield leaning behind my bed. Be careful you don't damage the paint on your 911 when using it to deter a thief.
