Default Easiest theft deterrant for an SC? Suggestions please

If any of you know DME-equipped cars, you know that it's easy enough to disable your car in seconds. Well, what about my SC? Any suggestions would be *most* appreciated (PM me if you feel uncomfortable about divulging your secrets here).

I am fully aware that anyone determined to steal my SC WILL, but I am speaking more of your casual/opportunistic thief. So my SC Trackmeister is street parked by my driveway under a cover, and I don't ever worry about it unless my family and I leave the house for more than an overnighter. What's the easiest "kill method," if you will, to render it dead, at least for long enough that the would-be thief would get sick of troubleshooting, and just move on to the next mark. Again, I'd really appreciate any suggestions that would just give me a bit of piece of mind. BTW, no alarms, please (...hate those things!!)

Pop out the Fuel Pump relay or add a simple switch to cut the FP relay signal.

In my old 75 911s I would just pull the FP harness plug in the back left side of the engine bay if I had it parked in questionable spot.

Lift the distributor cap, remove the rotor, replace the cap, and put the rotor somewhere that you'll remember...

I have used Pete's method with satisfactory results in the past. Or put supertrapps behind headers.that'll scare the crap out of him. Better than Lojack!

layer systems

#1 is routine alarm strore crap

#2 is anything you can dream up.

#3 is an engine kill as it's being driven away. No crook is gonna hang around with a dead engine in traffic.

told to me by 25yr NYC PD with experience chasing car thieves.

I think the bigger threat is the smart crook that put your car directly onto the back of a flat bed tow truck. I personally think you should rig the car to self destruct about 30 seconds after it has been driven away. That will teach the purp a good lesson!

1 - remove and store fuel-pump relay (yep, it's the red one nearest the driver, and it's easy)
2- remove and store the rotor and the high tension wire from the center of the cap (You'd be amazed how many thieves don't notice them missing ... let alone good mechanics).
3- pull fuse #16 (fuel pump ... again! HaHa!)
4- If you have a removable steering wheel, store it in the house (a-la Mr. Bean)
5-pull fuel injection harness next to rear left rear shock tower (a bugger to ge to of your heater blower is still in.)

Do all of the above, or some of the above. Or ... keep your Rottweiller in there overnight.

I have a simple toggle-switch for the power to the fuel pump as well (sorry hidden where no one can find it.) If I throw the switch, the fuel pressure drops and the engine fails. As soon as I return the switch, the car runs.

This is even more fun .... Remove the interior door lever cables from both doors, and pull the window fuses. Sure the thief can get in ... but can he/she get out? Simply call the cops and tell them to look for your car with an idiot trapped inside. Oh, and hang the fuel pump relay from the radio dial ... to let them know why the car didn't start.

Then ... there's always the spair high-tension wire that runs from the distributor to a metal plate in the seat ... 40K volts might get their attention.

Ahhh yes, saw that in an old James Bond flic ...very effective "deterrent" as he won't be doing that again! Except that I don't get my my car back

OK, fuel pump relay and HT lead ...perfect in its simplicity and ease on my part. Thanks for the simple/effective suggestions, guys ...I appreciate it!! BTW, I have two large, imposing looking dogs which my kids affectionately (and most incorrectly) call them "puppies" ...problem is they'd probably just lick the damn thief to death, and maybe even jump in the porsche as he drives it away.

I would pull the full pump relay, add a hidden battery kill switch and leave a full siez copperhead snake on the front seat

All of these still don't help if they want to tow your car. Here is a good defense against car jacking.

And for the video of how it works...
