Dual output in 84?
I am having a hell of a time in finding a dual output exhaust unit for my 1984 911 Carerra. Does anyone know where I can find one, and what I should expect to pay?

Try vertex at www.vertexauto.com or I have seen the best selection in the tweeks catalogue. This forum also has quite a bit of exhaust related posts.

One option would be Monty mufflers, which have a dual output. US sales through http://www.aasesales.com/. $900-$1,025

Guys:
Another ( cheaper) alternative is to do what I have on my 85 right now.. a factory unit with the right side modified to accept a "duplicate" of the left side exhaust. sounds nice, and has factory quaility at a realtively low price.

Call Brian at GHL at 877-930-0911 and tell him you are about to become a Rennlist Member. It's worth 10% off the purchase price. They also have a terrific reputation and a full product line - in addition to an excellent product.

I recently bought a Dansk dual outlet (single inlet) and am very happy. I looked into the B&B and thought it was too loud and too raucous. Also, the Dansk - which has the factory OEM "sausage style" look with a polished silver finish - seems to control the backfire burble that seems to make guest appearances on the modified setups. I got the muffler through Windward for $600 (also got a Fabspeed premuffler). Looks great, sounds great, runs great.
