Default Cruise Control VSS for Porsche

Does anybody know the pulses per kilometer or mile generated by the transmission mounted speedometer sensor for a 1983 911??
The Porsche electrical maintenance book under speedometer says 4055 as an example
Is that the correct number? I need to set the dip switches on my aftermarket Rostra Global Cruise, part # 2501233. I have everything installed just need to get the pulse number. Then hopefully it will work. Had to make a bracket for the cable to pull the throttle, might have to change the angle on it. An old article in Panorama Up Fixin Volume VII has a diagram of a bracket that worked with an old Dana aftermarket cruise control.
