How difficult and expensive is it to convert a 1971 911 sportomatic to a 5-speed?
I am thinking of purchasing a 1971 911 targa sportomatic that is perfect for $10.000.Would like to convert the transmision.Can anyone help?,is it worth it?.

Patrick; Don't do it! See last month's Excellence for an article on one of these cars. Some people don't care for them, but they are pretty unique.
