engine oil capacity question

Guys i would need another advice if you don't mind. 
On my oil tank, beside the filling cap, there are 2 hoses that can connect there, i know one goes to the crank case on top of engine but what to i do with the other one ? I think it went to the intake airbox but mine is'nt there because the p.o. has put K&N air filters, so what should i put there ?
