'02 Exhaust Question
How can I determine if I have the "sport" (or "performance) exhaust option?
someone told me there would be a switch inside that could turn the noise down (never heard that one before).
is it listed under the bonnet w/the codes for options?
reason is, I need to replace one mufler - regular ones are around $500, the "sport" ones are closer to $1100

Well you are actually in the wrong forum , you need to be in the 996 forum. under water cooled . But I happen to have information on your question. The sport muffler option is VERY cool and sounds wonderfull. ther is in fact a switch that closes or opens the baffles at low engine speed. but when you put your foot down on the high way she opens up anyway i think. user "pongobaz" has this option on his C4S and he is on te Canadain forum. he can tell you specifically what to look for . try PMing him.
