Is he propping the trunk lid on that longhood open with the umbrella in the Darjeeling movie? That is hilarious! Those pneumatic hood shocks aren't worth a damn. Honestly, how much heavier would some old fashioned springs really have made the car?

This was on the Pelican forum not too long ago:

Here is the scene from "Against All Odds" on YouTube:

How about in 48 hours where Eddie Murphy had a speedster w/ money in it? Or that tv show with a speedster and the 2 cops - used a phil collins song in it's opening...... And who can forget the speedster in Top Gun?

There is a really nice early 911s in one of the matrix movies (I think part 2) - its sitting in the parking garage.

Also, spygame w/ Robert Redford w/ the green 912. It was actually the car of one of the local pcar guys in the DC metro area.

Wow - after much research - the show was called "The Insiders" - only ran in 1985.... "Just a Job to Do" from genesis was the theme song and they rode around in a speedster. Apparently one of the lead actors was also one of the lead dancers in one of Michael Jacksons videos...... NOW there is some truly useless knowledge for everyone! Enjoy!

oh man......the gumball rally.......i have that dvd and watch it all the time......when the cars leave the starting point in 10 sec intervals, screaming thru early morning NYC......wow.......wow. some may say the movie sucks but IMHO it's awesome

as a kid i always rooted for the cobra, but now that i have experienced the 911 and the confidence it inspires, you feel like you could drive it around the world and back....
