I was wondering if anyone owning SC's with CIS experience the same issues I'm having: Often during warm up , first 10 minutes, the engine dies when revs go down to idle. Is this a matter of fine tuning the warm up regulator or the CIS itself ? Revs stabilize at 1,000 after warm up with no AC.
Also, after engine reaches operating temperature and I turn on my original 50 lbs York AC compressor, the engine gets cut off as soon as I stop in a trafic light. I can bearly keep it on while idling at 800 revs and shaking.
Are these 2 things related ? What to do ? thanks, Luciano.
I dont know what the problem is but if I try to run my AC before the car has warmed up it will also die when I come to a stop. But I never like running the AC anyway, so I dont really have a problem.
