My SC's new garage mate - two bodacious butts, eh? .
'08 Volvo C30 Sports Coupe - 3155 lbs, 227 hp inline 5, 6 spd., 0-60 6.2 sec., 146 mph.
Damned near as fast as the SC (only in a straight line, of course) but nowhere NEAR as much fun to drive !

The Volvo looks like a SUV next to the sc.

Ha ha! Yeah I know. And the Volvo is a COMPACT car! Imagine what an Escalade or other such glorified truck would look like.

There is a special place in my heart for volvos, and this new wagon seems to pay homage to the old P1800 wagon, at least at the back.

Congrats on a getting a DD I'd love to have, myself.

Don't mean to be a nag, but would it kill you to clean that garage a little before you take a picture?

Geez Jack, a comment like that from you after I spent a lot of time cleaning it up with my Shop Vac? Well, actually, my PhotoShop Vac - here's what it looked like before .

Congrats on your garage renovation - looks great! Just be careful you don't drop a wrench on that gorgeous ceramic tile (it's said that Ettore Bugatti once fired one of his mechanics on the spot when he saw him drop one of his (Ettore's) cloisone emblemed crescent wrenches !).

I just ordered 9 boxes of charcoal gray MotoFloor (made by Race Deck - look the same to me) after which I'm putting in a cabinet system, all from COSCO.

If you're at all like me, I just know that you are making numerous unnecessary trips to your new garage, just to look at it and beam with satisfaction .

OMG.

I was gonna include the Smart on my wishlist. I simply must print off a copy of this, and frame it. This is too funny.

I saw a YouTube video of some guys who put superbike motors in a couple of smart cars, and were doing donuts and drifting and stuff in a parking lot. Very funny.

I'm still having a hard time with the fact that you photoshopped the garage pic to remove the clutter. I feel a bit betrayed. I guess you did admit to it but only after you were 'found out'.

Nice new car!

Thanks.

Actually, I was SO hoping someone would comment and Jack obliged me .

Oh, my MotoFlor tiles arrived today. I'm returning them tomorrow - I did some more (belated) research and don't like the idea of water and other fluids draining throug it and ending up smelling bad (Jack Olsen mentioned that concern regarding Race Deck).

Also learned that a number of people in my area were really unhappy with its appearance and durability after only a month or two. I understand that they are a product of Race Deck - cheaper price, maybe cheaper material?

The photoshop thing is funny. I was going to comment on the bare walls....now I see why they are bare.
