Default Strange sensation/wheel feedback when tight turning?

When I make a tight turn, even at slow speeds, I get a weird sensation from the front end like I'm rolling over something or there is a bulge in my tire. It's hard to explain, but it includes steering wheel "bump" as well. I noticed it making a left hand u-turn today. It would be a continuous bump, bump, bump if I stayed in the turn and did 360's. The sensation/steering wheel feedback does not occur going straight or even making a normal turn. Just tight turns with wheels hard over.

What do I need to replace in the front end? This can't be normal.

I think this is pretty normal . mine does it to. only at very slow speds at full lock.... having said that if you are at full lock at anything other than very slow speeds you are in a world of hrt anyway :-)
I think mine is the tyres scrubbing but this has come up before.

Could be the sways binding up...mine does it, and that is what I have always attributed it to. My friend's GT3 does exactly the same under the same circumstances.

this sounds like what 4x4's do when the posi-traction locks up. Could it be loose bearings or ball joints? Could it be the tread patern?

The suspention geometry gets all messed up when its at full lock. it happens on most cars. The wheels get out of alignment and you get tire skip. Go to a parking lot and have someone else drive while you check it out youll see what i mean. It could also be tire rub or the lsd giving you a strange sensation that could feel like the front end. Especialy with fat sticky rear tires
