Shannon, that is way OT and not suitable for a public forum.

"Now, do I want the long Nardi woody or the short stubby Manely?"

Iceman started it. I am totally innocent. I'm just looking for a **** that feels good in my hand. And what could be better than a woody?

Ok, now seriously, I've decided to get a Nardi or one of the Manely shift *****. It just seems right. But I'm thinking... it would look supercool if I could also replace the handbrake (ebrake) handle with a wood one.

How difficult is it to remove the original handle? And does anyone know of a wood replacement?

Crap I found on ebay.

The last two I think are meant for a boxster and the first one is a generic one, probably won't fit. Just wanted to give you guys ideas.

I found the same ones. Thank you very much for looking. Very kind of you.
I like the MOMO handle, but it appears it may be too short. I'll check it out.
The middle one is great... it's for a 996 GTX if I remember.
I don't know if it would bolt in or not. I'd guess the mechanism has changed.

I am almost certain it has. It is designed for a car that is light years ahead of ours in technology, I mean for chirst's sake......it has cup holders!

However, if you make friends with someone who knows how to use a wood lathe and is bored you would be surprised what he can come up with. It's only wood and the technology to shape it is very old and widely available.

If you leave the top down in the sun a lot, be careful of polished ***** . I had a polished aluminum MOMO in my car, but it got freakin hot when the car was out in the sun with the top off. I've since replaced the shifter with a Wevo, which the **** doesn't fit.

Yeah its really nice and very smoooth! The best bit is that its approx the same length as std fitment so the gater still fits nice and looks right - making it all seem like it was always there - (& the Nardi logo is so small and discreet it doesnt have the bling bling feel that after market ***** often do!!

Well given the original **** was round on my SC I was going with the round ones as it keeps more of the classic look. Even the new Ferraris have the round shift **** on the newer cars still and I think it looks great. Definitle a woody would be in order if you are driving around topless.
