Just if anybody was wondering here is the website for any recall of any vehicle or equipment in the U.S. even if the manufacturer does not tell you.

For Porsche at least, you can call Porsche customer service at 800-PORSCHE, give them the VIN and they'll tell you if there are any outstanding recalls for your 911.
