Default Idle

Well this was different; for the past 3 days while sitting at the stop sign on the off ramp of the highway my 911 has had a fluctuating idle and when it settles down its idling too high, around 1100 rpm (morning time). Now on the way home it won't do this. Does any one have an idea of what might be going on?
Background Info:
1984 Carrera, 132k miles on it, New O2 sensor, New idle control valve, Tune-up about 20k ago, Recent valve adjment.

You have to establish the CO%, then go from there. A number of 3.2 cars have needed a replacement air flow meter because of a rich condition, and your symptom sounds suspiciously like that. Of course, other possibilities exist, but that's the easiest to check...

Thanks, Mr. Zimmermann, I'll check the CO%.
