Does anyone know where I can find a 91161712401 Cable? I have a 1979 911SC and need a new cable (just the cable) and found that I can no longer order them. Does anyone know the differences betweem the 91161712401 ('80 and newer) and 91161712402 ('81 and later) cables?

I am not sure of where you might be located, but you might be able to get the correct "Bowden" type cruise control cable from the source in the link?? It is part #22 in the diagram.

CAn you have one manufactured ? There must be cable companies that could manufacture one or repair yours.

Yeah, that is my last resort. When I checked in August there were 7 left and they were all in Germany. I should have bought all 7 then. :-)
