Default 1998 911

This car is advertised at a too low price and a prebuy may not be an option. This is 175000 miles and in an area that is severely impacted by the real estate melt down. I am familiar with the SC. What are the soft places in this year Porsche that I should be aware of?

lol, I was thinking whaaa?? But I have seen 1998 911's going for bottom 20k all day. Prolly meant 1978 if its an SC.

Do you have a link for the car? Whats the price?

1998 ? Valve guides that cause carbon build up - clog up the air injection and cause a "Check Engine Light" to come on.

But be 1998 (right before the introduction of the water pumpers) they had just about everything right.

At 175k miles - suspension needs to have been redone, interior typcially has lots of wear - you could stick another 20,000 in a 993 pretty easily.

Problem appears solved either sold or withdrawn from sale. Appreciate the quick information. I really had NO time for research; it was go or no go right now. thanks again
