I finally upgraded my '87 Targa's engine and will have a few extra parts. Anyone give me an idea on what the following are worth:

1) complete set of 3.2 pistons and cylinders (the shop says there are in pretty good shape),

2) muffler off the Targa (no rust)

I also have a stock exhaust system off my 2002 996 Turbo I would like to get out of my storage shed. Any idea what it is worth?

Price is such a wierd thing, some people sell at a lower price just to get rid of the things and have the wives off their back where as some people sell at a higher price and are willing to wait. You can check out the pelican classifieds, I am sure you will find similar adds to give you an idea.

Personally, I would be very hesitant of buying used P&Cs. If something goes it is a lot of money to get at it. As for the exhaust, no biggy, it's easy access. Just my thoughts though. Good luck!

thanks.....actually my wife is pretty much of the opinion that she doesn't a bunch of stuff staying around. I would like the shop to get me a credit for the stuff but just was hoping to get an idea of what it might be worth before I hear their "offer".

So, P&C's -- $200, $300, $500?

Targa Muffler -- $100, $200, $400?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Call EBS - they will buy them from you - If they are within spec - 500 or so.
