Default SC Tires

I have an 83 SC. All Stock. Going to replace the tires in the next 5k miles... 100% street use. Bridgestone Potenza RE940's on there now. Not unhappy with them. They stick like glue even when wet.
What is the best tire... Stick with the Potenza's?
Milchelin Pilots
Pirelli P Zeros
Bridgestone Potenza's
Continental ContiExtreme

Any others I should consider?

Thanks in advance for the advise...

The Bridgestones are good tires for these cars IMO. Since you like the ones you had, why mess with success?

I have Bridgestone RE750s on my '82; I didn't like them at first, but quickly realized that the shop who I bought them from did a terrible balance job. Once that was fixed I began to like them a little (they were unusually hard when new), now that they've been on the car for a few years I really like them. They stick well, stop well, but I can't comment on rain performance - it only rains about 3" a year here!

I generally dont drive my car in the rain. Only really know because when I picked my car up from the valve adjustment, it rained hard the 30 mile trip home and i was expecting the worst and it really was ok. I was alittle careful, didnt push it...
i like the tires when dry, braking as well. just didnt have a frame of reference... so wanted to check.. if you use the potenzas, then im comfortable with the quality...
