This isn't how a totaled 911 thread goes. Normally it goes a little something like this
OP: "Oh my, I just totaled my beloved 911, I am heart broken!"
Responses: "I am very sorry for your loss.......but now that the grieving is over; how much do you want for that mirror, shipped?"

Man I would like to hear more from the OP. I hope he got it for parts. As that thing looks unsavable ... or at least would cost moe than a very nice Carrera.

Bought the car for parts. It's amazing what it has in brand new stuff - pair of SPG's, H-4's, fresh rebuilt 2.7, every piece of rubber was brand new, new carpet and RS door panels etc.
The wheels also look like new ones, not refinished.
I'm trying to find out what was done to the engine.
By the way, the insurance paid out $38k on it so the guy must have had a pile of receipts.
