Default How much is this car worth??/

One of the guys in my office inherited this car when his father-in-law passed away earlier this year. He wants to put this car up for sell at a fair asking price but doesn't really know how much the car is worth. Anyone care to provide an estimate???

I promise, if you guys help me with this I'll go back over to the other (read water cooled) side of the tracks before my radiator hose bursts.

The good news is that prices on early 911s have been going through the roof lately. This one is the bottom of the line "T" but still a highly sought after car. The bad news is that this car appears to need a lot of work. Since these cars had virtually no rust proofing from the factory and I see rust in several of the pictures, I don't think you are looking at a high dollar car. If it runs good with good compression and leak down results, doesn't need any really expensive components, and the rust has not infested the structural components (doesn't look that bad in the pictures) I'd say $4,000.00 - $6,000.00. It certainly could bring a little more from an anxious buyer especially if the engine and transmission are in excellent shape.

Given the current mania, it could fetch a decent number.

Put it on ebay with detailed pics and description and see where it goes.

A real dog of a T sold a few weeks ago for $11K.

Post over on Pelican and Early 911 board to get an assessment. I have a feeling if you dig around you're going to find some serious rust issues.

I would check the part # on wheels they could be worth some decent money. I'd say that is a 4-6K car based on what I can see which isn't much. Have your friend email me and I can help with valuation Q's.
