Thanks!

You know, compared to my old '86 black carrera (which was US spec), its not that much different. Although, when I bought the '86, it was already chipped, had a catbypass, premuffler and sport exhaust (Bursch) - so it was pretty set up.

I can say that the difference in this car from when I bought it two months ago until now has been incredible. I passed emissions for the last time - and so I did away w/ the bizarre "O2 sensor wired into the brain" setup that somebody put on the car to make it pass emissions (and made it run like crap). W/ the SW chip, catbypass and M&K muffler - the car runs like a dream - no low RPM hesitation/lack of power that you sometimes get w/ 3.2s.

Compared to the '86, it does have a bit more "kick in the pants" w/ the extra 20HP or so.

Looke nice

I should be able to wash my care sometime in 2009 if the drought restrictions are lifted.

So far it seems like they may be shutting down the car wash business's that do not recycle the water soon.

Sold the wrecked '86 to a local guy who is fixing it up, dealt w/ him to get my wheels back from it (the 7's and 9's), then got them refinished.

The old car actually wasn't too badly damaged, just minor frame bend on the front passenger side and some cosmetic stuff. The insurance company wasn't going to risk the "while you're in there cost" and gave me good $ for it, so I took it and ran.

Are Euro rear lenses a common upgrade item? Someone suggested that they would look great on my car when looking at a pic the other day. Just curious.
