Jan V. are you the real Jan from Denmark? Not sure about the tool kit, but it's about time you showed up. I think you found a great car. I'm glad you passed on the ones over here. Glad to finally meat you. You have to do a photo shoot for us.

On the tool kit I'd try some of the dismantlers like L A Porsche Dismantlers. do a search for "used parts". I have the original plastic gloves in my car, but no tool kit...go figure.

Post a WTB in the Pelican Parks classifieds & watch evilBay. I bought my set from 3 different sources to get all of the tools. But you only need the fan wrench & the sparkplug wrench imho.

Ian

And welcome!

here's a shot of jan's car i'm sure he's too shy to formally introduce himself.
he's probably too humble to say it's in utterly fantastic condition also (albeit a missing toolkit), a gem, and a fab colour.
fill the trunk below guys with a toolkit...

(i'd like to publically add a BIG personal thanks to douglas bray for helping make the above car happen for my friend)

Yes, Douglas, I am the Jan from Denmark, whom you helped earlier this year, when I was looking for a Targa in California. Thanks a lot for your expert words of advice, which helped me a lot in my continued hunt. I stumpled on the Wasp (911E Targa from 73) in Holland, when I was surfing dutch web sites. It was a lousy and poor picture, bur my curiosity was aroused anyways :-)

After a lot of mails I decided to fly down to see it "live". It proved to be a very nice 1973 specimen with practically no rust and a smooth and strong E engine. Completely original apart from the seats, the steering wheel and the radio. After some negotiations I bought it and drove it back to Denmark the same day; a 500 mile drive :-) Lots of fun and I look forward to take it out of the garage, when spring comes !!
