Chrome would imply to me they are steel nuts that are chrome plated?

Most that I've seen for Porsches (that aren't black) are polished alloy. These require TLC, more so than I want to give taking wheels on and off. So, if they are indeed "chrome" steel nuts, I may go for a set.
