PPI in Philadelphia
Hey all,
I am looking for a name(s) of a very competent independant porsche mechanic that can do a PPI for me before I fly in to PA to buy a 930.
I was looking for said mechanic to do a full visual/driven inspection with leakdown/compression test.
Hopefully in the $100-$300 range?
I will be buying the car based on his report, so I don't want to proceed if he tells me it will need an engine rebuild or has a sordid history with a bondo man.
Thank you all very much for any input!

This should link you to a list of approved tech inspectors from PCA Reisentoter region. Performance automotive in Malvern has a good rep though I haven't used them. Don Galbraith is nearby me and Valley Forge. He's been around a long time and the work he's done for me has been good though it's been a while.

In the Valley Forge area you could also call Don at Don Gailbraith Motors 610-964-0477. I have known Don for many years and he's worked on and PPI's just about every 911 I have owned. Dougerty's is also excellent as someone mentioned. Mike Tillson's shop is just a couple miles from me but I had a bad expereince so I wont use them anymore. A lot of people like their service and I assume it was an isoloated issue but I wont go back.
