On a serious note, I used to use Eurocar-Werk over on Gulfton at Rice (back before I moved to Dallas). Eric is/was a great guy and they did a good job for me on my '74 911 and my '79 930 (in fact, I bought my 930 from Eric). 713-661-6248. Here is the link to their website. If you talk with Eric, please tell him hello for me.

Thanks for the replies.
For those interested, no I'm not looking at a 'Victory' car.

Eric at Eurocar Werks has my 70T right now waiting for Webers to be delivered. He does NOT do PPIs.

Here are some names, no experience or recommendation..... European Auto Technics in N. Houston, Pro Technik and Valkyrie in Stafford. From the local PCA site, Ken http://www.lsrpca.com/P-Naut/advertisers%20page.htm

I would check with the good folks at the Lone Star Region of the PCA. There are several independent shop folks advertising in the Porsche'Naut (the monthly newsletter). The link is LSRPCA (http://www.lsrpca.com/).
I had the same issue last summer and finally drove to St. Louis to take a look for myself. The PPI and the fuel was about the same. In my case the car came home with me. I have heard that Sam Shalala is one of the better guys. He is in Stafford.

Thanks for all the feedback.
have to make some calls this morning.
Sam Shalala actually worked on the car I'm looking at before and has known the owner for many years. Conflict of interest aside, he knows the car much better than any other mechanic in the area.
Will see what happens.
I hope to post some pics of the new toy soon.

I used to race against Sam in the early/mid-90s in IMSA. He did a PPI on my girlfriend's '84 Euro 3.2 Carrera before she purchase it. He's a good guy.
