++What Jay said,.....

964's are VERY well made and durable cars. They handle better than their predecessors, have higher maintenance costs due to access, and certainly feel different from the earlier 911's.

Insofar as long-term durability, 964's shouldn't be classified with the water-cooled cars at all. Thats a "horse of a different color".

Get a chance to drive a 964RS and that will change anyone's mind.
