High presure water (I hope your not considering a brush car wash) would not be good for your top. Also, I had a friend who put her 993 in a touch-less car wash and it almost ruined the paint. Some chemical really did a tune on her paint. I would drive it in the rain if you have no other options.

I have a 78 targa and it doesn't leak a drop in the rain .. so I am sure your cab will be fine from a " is it safe" standpoint. I guess it comes down to "do you own your car , or does your car own you " .. get it and enjoy her , I find my car a blast in the rain .... but then again not enough horsepower to swap ends unless you are really being silly.
