Me either. you may have to have them made, but I'm not sure how you would attach hoops and keep a clean look

Why would you want double hoop roll bars? Major sanctioning bodies out lawed them for safety reasons back in the mid to late 60's.

sounds like a rhetorical question. On the 88 cab, with twin hoops, where do the inboard legs mount?

So true, the inboard attachments would require major fabrication/engineering...

Default Roll bars

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the feedback. My buddy tracks a few Mazda Miata's and there is a company that makes a SCCA approved/certified double hoop which is not only safe (apparently) but also visually appealing. I like both of those qualities but they do not make them for our 911's. Just thought I'd throw it out there into the big bucket of Rennlist knowledge & see if a company I'm not aware of is making them. Take a look at the following link.

You wouldn't use these on a street car without a helmet, right? Doooh!

I would not consider such a bar, even with the required high density foam wrapped around it. Those bars are way to close to your head...

Can you guys recommend any other sources you feel are better to consider?? This is an area I haven't researched and I'm a bit out of my element here. Any leads would be great.

Thanks again,
Real

I take it this is for the cab in your avatar. My advice is to go to the tried and true. You can a Das bar made for your car and you will be much better off. Go to this link and type in Das in the search window. Then just pick the appropriate bar. You can bolt it in yourself in very little time. It can also be removed without damage to your car.
